Dinosaurs, Museum of Natural History, NYC

The dinosaur exhibit was crowded at the museum. It probably always is. There's something so fascinating about them, and no matter what I go to the museum to see, I tend to be drawn to these galleries as well. Recently there was apparently some show in New York where people dressed as dinosaurs walked amongst the crowd, but there's something so elegant about seeing the fossilized skeletons arranged just so at the museum. They appear almost more lifelike than even the best digital animation. Or maybe I just have an overactive imagination.

Part of me wishes that all the dinosaurs were running off towards the left of the frame. The dinosaur on the left and the one in the center really give the frame movement. It's almost too bad the dinosaur on the right isn't facing the same direction.

These galleries also feel like some of the newest. I seem to remember that they were renovated not too long ago, but I'm too tired right now to search for that information.
